HOW TO READ THE TIRE SIZE
- 205 - The section Width. The tire’s width in millimeters.
- 55 - The aspect ratio. The bigger the aspect ratio, the higher/taller the tire’s sidewall or "profile" will be.
- R - Stands for radial tires, the industry standard for most tires today.
- 16 - The wheel diameter. Basically, your rim size.
- 91 - The load index. This indicates how much weight a tire can support.
- H - The speed rating. This indicates the top speed it’s safe to travel at for a sustained amount of time.
